Since 1968 Ford has been producing a limited run of unique, extremely fast dragstrip exclusive Mustang’s and for the 2018 production of these models only 68 of these cars have been made. Here at Tiesiera Ford in Tulare County we are fortunate to have one those 68 Mustang’s, model #36 to be specific, and it comes in a striking red colorway. What makes having this Mustang at our dealership even more special is that of the 68 total produced only 23 were made in red.

The 2018 Mustang Cobra Jet marks the 50th anniversary of this very special edition Ford Mustang being produced, and you will find emblems of this 50th anniversary all over the car. From the Racetech seats, the specially made dashboard, the front and rear wheels, and even the exterior you can find fitted with unique 50th anniversary decals.  

970 horsepower is produced from the 2018 Cobra Jet Race Engine, with a 9.7:1 compression ratio, a massive amount of power. The giant 30x9-15 tires in the rear of this Mustang racecar propels it down the track at a blistering pace, making it the quickest ever finishing the quarter mile in the mid 8 second range at over 150mph. The design of this Mustang was intended to simply get it down the track as fast as possible, and it does so very effectively.
